HOPPER BOTTOM SILOS FOR LONG-TERM BULK STORAGE
Capacity starting from 100 MT to 900 MT. ventilation, Ladders, Level Indicator & Grain unloading gates as required are all provided to the built hopper bottom silo. The grains will be discharged by gravity to the bucket elevator/belt conveyor for onward conveying. These silos can also be built on the top of the concrete conical hopper with beams and columns built in situ.
Hopper Bottom Silos are designed for efficient day to day bulk storage and easy grain discharge. They are constructed with fabricated steel structures and a conical steel bottom.
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
Structure
Built on steel structures with a conical bottom made of steel plates. The corrugated sheets are assembled with bolts and nuts on circular purlins and vertical stiffeners, with waterproof washers.
Roof and Access
Features a pitched roof design for efficient water runoff and structural integrity. Equipped with durable handrails for protection, and strategically placed manholes for maintenance and inspection.

Aeration and Ventilation
Equipped with aeration, ventilation, and temperature monitoring systems as needed.
Storage Capacity
Recommended for storing up to 500 tonnes of grains like paddy with a density of less than 550kg/m³.
